Baggy is currently on postdoctoral leave from the
National Institute of Physics, University of the Philippines. He is
now a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) fellow at the
Department of Systems and Human Science, Graduate School of
Engineering Science, Osaka University. He recently obtained his PhD
(Doctor of Philosophy) from Osaka University, Japan. His research is
on the reconstruction of bifurcation structures of dynamical systems
from time series data.
Baggy obtained his Master of Science in Physics in
1995 from the National Institute of Physics, University of the
Philippines. His Bachelor's degree (Applied Physics) was also obtained
in the same institution in 1993.

Kathy is currently a member of the Properties of
Superconducting Materials Laboratory, Frontier Technology Division of
the Electrotechnical Laboratory (ETL) in Japan. ETL is one of the
national laboratories in the Agency of Industrial Science and
Technology (AIST) of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry
(MITI). Kathy received her BS and MS degrees in Physics from the
University of the Philippines in 1994 and 1996, respectively, and her
doctorate degree in Engineering from Yamagata University in 1999. Her
present work involves the study of large-area superconducting thin
films fabricated by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method. She is also
a member of the Japan Society of Applied Physics.
