| Since the price of rams quadruples leading up to Tobaski, theft is high. So everyone who has a ram brings it to work, where the security is better! Kate had 7 at her office, and we had about the same. One can also see them being transported about on top of taxis or even in the boot/trunk! |
| Here's the ram our neighbor bought, being held by a friend of his. The ram spent the night in a spare apartment in the compound, and was due to be slaughtered in front of our house at 10 am on Saturday. We were invited to watch and photograph! |
| We have the photos in between, but thought it best not to publish them! The little guy helping out is our neighbor's son - Omar. He's getting started on the ins and outs of the Tobaski feast at an early age! |
