Photos from Tobaski
Since the price of rams quadruples leading up to Tobaski, theft is high.  So everyone who has a ram brings it to work, where the security is better!  Kate had 7 at her office, and we had about the same.  One can also see them being transported about on top of taxis or even in the boot/trunk!
Here's the ram our neighbor bought, being held by a friend of his.  The ram spent the night in a spare apartment in the compound, and was due to be slaughtered in front of our house at 10 am on Saturday.  We were invited to watch and photograph!
We have the photos in between, but thought it best not to publish them!  The little guy helping out is our neighbor's son - Omar.  He's getting started on the ins and outs of the Tobaski feast at an early age!
