Phil Gets into the Chemistry Set
...or Adventures in AP Chemistry
AP Chem is much more interesting than English, though the formulae are
sometimes rather confusing. (Katie would like to point out here that "formulae,"
being the correct Latin plural, is unfortunately not as commonly accepted
as the bastardized English "formulas." [And Phil would like to point out
that as much as he would love to do so, that is not swearing -- it is also
appropriate English.] )

Aphidium!
Aphidium is the latest element to be discovered, and it falls in that great
big gap between hydrogen and helium (with all that space, something had
to be missing). Aphidium's atomic mass is 3.141592654 (and etcetera);
it has 1.5 protons, 1.5 neutrons, and 1.5 electrons. This makes it very
radioactive, what with all those crazy neutrons. This also makes it polar
(partial negativity) and reactive, with lots of half-electrons zooming
all over the place. Here are some useful little things:

somewhere, it's just really hard

It's time to sing along to some Chem Carols!
A side note: on behalf of Sam, Phil hereby vows to eradicate
any potassium permanganate (KMnO4) that
he finds. Let no one else suffer the purple scourge!
