My closet doorknob has a webpage! I bet it's the only doorknob with a webpage.
I like to play around with Photoshop. I've made a bunch of LiveJournal icons. (I'll let people use them if you ask nicely.)
And Photoshop is fun when you get to use it for school assignments, like this project for my college Introduction to Literature class, comparing monsters with beasts.
The rest is mostly my non-fanfiction writing, with a few other random things. More randomness coming eventually.
Read my incredibly bad poem based on The House of Mirth. Which was actually a very good book, and I'm confident it will be a very good movie... if I ever get to see it.
The Mists of Avalon Essay - my Senior English paper. One of those books you either love or are disgusted by. I could have gone on for pages if I had had more time.
Neutron Stars - a summary and review of an article, for my physics class. It was a neat article, and I'd link to it but they want me to give them money or something (it's in the Aug. 2001 Sky & Telescope).
Riemann's Sums - a calculus project. The teacher complimented me for my half-creative/half-cheating way to improve accuracy.
Scully Essay - the essay I'm most proud of for the whole senior year. This is a college entrance essay (#4 on the common app); it was a required paper for English. I also sent it to Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Rensselaer, Albany Medical College, and MIT. Have I mentioned I'm very proud of it?
National Merit Essay - this is the essay I wrote for the nice scholarship people, who did actually give me some money. Yay for being a broke college student.
And now the random part, such as this article I found in the newspaper, concerning the death of one Julie Scully.
Or, even better, a genuine Dana Scully, living within a few miles of my own home!
