November 2005 - Weirs Beach in Fall

A clear day in fall at Lake Winnipesaukee. I had just arrived at Weirs Beach and got my camera set up to shoot off of the boardwalk down to an empty pier. I went to adjust my aperture and shutter speed after taking a light meter reading and accidentally took this shoot. I thought I was waisting film but this turned out to be one of my best shots from the semester.

Shortly after the "mistake" shot, I took another of the same composition using my in-camera meter as a guide. The resulting image was over-exposed slightly and did not compare to my "oops!"

Camera settings: ? @ ?th, #?. I used my Mamiya 645AFD (Medium Format) camera.
