It should have been said
It should have been done
But the thought was not behind it

This poem basically does the explaining for itself. There usually comes a time when we all forget to say a simple "thank you," or when we don't tell others exactly how we feel about them or other things. After I wrote this poem, I realized there are so many things I haven't told people, such as how much I love them or how much they mean to me, as in the poem, "It should have been said." Being the introvert that I usually am, people usually describe me as being quiet when, in fact, my mind is constantly racing at light speed, though I usually don't express those thoughts outward. Writing is a start for me to somehow explain what goes on in my thoughts, though I usually sit down to write and I can't seem to because I have so many ideas running through my head that I don't know where to begin. But that is another story.
