Why Chou?
Why you ask? I think Chou is one of many underrated characters in Rurouni Kenshin. Chou plays a very important role in the Kyoto Arc, and that is to reveal Shishio's plans to burn Kyoto to the ground and take over Japan. Without that valuable information, Himura and Saitou would still be trying to figure it all out.
Chou is a member of the Juppon Gatana, Shishio Makoto's elite, ten-person army. Sadly, he is the weakest of this force and the first to appear and be defeated by Himura Kenshin. Being this as it is, Chou is just another "victim" of the "great and undefeatable" rurouni. Damn you, Himura.
That's another reason why I did this small and humble shrine to Chou. I love antagonists. In fact, anyone who opposes or is neutral towards the protagonist.
Beside that, I just like Chou. Plain and simple. I don't think he has enough fans, and I find it dissapointing. Why do I just like him? I don't know. He's just so cool! And he has very...interesting hair too.
