Kinomoto Sakura {voice actress: Tange Sakura}
This girl has a kind personality and a set mind on her mission to capture the Clow cards. She has some fear, but learns to overcome it at that time. However, she is put down by Li a lot, but she still tries her best which leads to her sucess as a cardcaptor. She is guided mostly by Kero {or Kiro}, guardian of the Clow cards, however is disguised to others as a stuffed animal.

Li Syaoran {voice actor: Kumai Motoko}
This guy just wants to be the chosen cardcaptor and not Sakura ^_^. He thinks Sakura is a girl incapable of being one and usually puts her down because she shows fear in her work as a cardcaptor. However, through his tough personality he sometimes helps Sakura in capturing the Clow cards and is very intelligent in planning things and comming up with strategies.

Daidouji Tomoyo-chan aka Madison {voice actress: Iwao Junko }
She is Sakura's best friend and accompanies Sakura on her missions s a cardcaptor by video taping her adventures when she can and giving her different outfits to wear on her missions, depending on the Clow card she is after. A different outfit everytime ^_-

Li Meilin aka Melin {voice actress: Nogami Yukana}
This apparently is a girl from the place where Li had transferred (China!) from which accounts for her affection for Li and hostility toward Sakura {could she be dun, dun, dun jealous? ^_^}. She wanted to be a cardcaptor in order to assist Li in capturing the Clow cards. Although she really has no power, she has very good fighting skills. note: She was only used in the anime; she does not appear in the manga!
