Card Captor Sakura

Cardcaptors is a light action and comedy show that is probably soon to be hightly promoted in the U.S. However, I have only seen WB's dubbed version and don't like the way they have done things, like confusing everyone by showing the episodes out of order just to keep a boy and girl audience...

Sakura is a girl who opened the Clow book which had secret powers held in cards. Once opened, the cards were released and now Sakura is on a mission to find all the cards released. She becomes the official cardcaptor. However, a boy transfers to her school, and is named Li {I think his last name is Shaoran}. He has a grudge against Sakura and it is learned he is a cardcaptor as well, but believes that Sakura is incapable of being one. Together, they both try to capture the cards they come across, sometimes fighting over who should keep it, and sometimes helping each other out. Sakura's friend, Marlin*{I have yet to confirm the name, I can't find the tape with the eps on it ^_^;; gomen nasai}* knows she is a cardcaptor and follows her on her adventures, giving her outfits to wear as well as recording her catpure the cards, the majority of the time. Soon, another girl has transfered to Sakura's school and is surprised to learn that this girl is in high rivalry with her and it seems she has a special affection for Li. Later on, it is revealed she too wants to be a cardcaptor with Li {probably the only reason :p}. Now all are on a quest to find the powerful Clow cards...
