   2.  Vice-President
         a.  Shall have full voting privileges on the Executive Committee.
         b.  Shall serve as chairperson of the program committee and appoint members to the program
              committee.
         c.  Shall serve as CE liaison to ISHA and be responsible for filing workshop for CEU approval
              to ISHA CE Administrator.
         d.  Shall be considered a member of the ISHA CE Committee with the purpose of coordinating
              multiple workshop offerings with statewide area groups.
         e.  Shall preside at meetings in absence of the president.
    3.  Treasurer
         a.  Shall have full voting privleges on Executive Committee.
         b.  Shall be responsible for preparing the annual budget.
         c.  Shall be responsible for collection of dues and fees.
         d.  Shall be responsible for payment of bills as authorized by the Executive Committee.
         e.  Shall prepare periodic reports to the Executive Committee.
         f.  Shall maintain the membership list.
         g.  Shall make all necessary filings with the State and Federal Agencies.
    4.  Secretary
         a.  Shall have full voting privileges on the Executive Committee.
         b.  Shall serve as chairperson of the membership committee.
         c.  Shall maintain and distribute the membership list to members annually.
         d.  Shall record minutes of all meetings, prepare copies for distribution, and maintain the
              permanent records.
         e.  Shall conduct all official correspondence.
    5.  Representative Councilor (s) to ISHA Representative Council.  May have two councilors.
         a.  Shall have full voting privileges on the Executive Committee.
         b.  Shall serve as a channel of communication between KASHA and ISHA Representative
              Council.
         c.  Shall attend 3 Representative Council meetings a year.

D.  Nominations
    1.  The Nominating Committee will submit its slate of nominations to the membership with the
         announcement of the Spring Meeting.  Nominations shall be accepted from the floor, providing
         nominee accepts the nomination.
    2.  Nominees for all elected offices for the subsequent year shall be presented to the membership
         at the spring meeting, at which time the elections will be held.
    3.  In the event of a tie, the presiding President (who abstains from voting) shall break a tie.
    4.  Notification for requests for absentee ballots will be distributed by the secretary to the
         membership with the slate and announcement of the spring meeting.
    5.  Election by secret ballot and a majority of votes cast for any office shall constitute the election.
E.  Succession
    1.  If the Presidential office becomes vacant, there will be an election by the membership at the
         earliest possible time to fill the vacancy.
    2.  If the offices of treasurer, co program chairpersons, or representative counselor become
         vacant, the President obtains suggestions and recommends a replacement.

ARTICLE VII
Standing Committees
A.  The Executive Committee shall consist of the Officers of the Association and the representative
      to the Representative Council of ISHA.  This committee shall meet when deemed necessary by
      the President and shall speak at least once before each general meeting.
B.  The Vice-President shall chair the Program Committee.  This committee shall be responsible for
      supplying the workshop material provided by the speaker.
C.  The Membership Committee shall be responsible for recruitment, evaluation of the qualifications
      of all new applicants, and approval of memberships.
D.  The Nominating Committee shall prepare a slate for each election and preside over all elections.

ARTICLE VIII
Meetings
A.  KASHA shall meet 4 times per year.
B.  All members are encouraged to attend meetings and CEU activities and demonstrate active
     involvement and participation.

ARTICLE IX
Amendments
A.  The bylaws my be amended or revised after notice has been given at any previous regular
      meeting.
B.  Passage of the revision or amendment shall require a majority vote at any official meeting or a
     majority of returned ballots.

ARTICLE X
Minutes
The regular meeting minutes will be available to the membership at the subsequent, regular meeting or
on request.  General Forum information announcements, meeting summaries, and CEU activities will
be conveyed to the membership throughout a newsletter.

ARTICLE XI
Dissolution
In the event that KASHA should be disband or cease to exist for any reason, any cash or other assets
that may be held by this organization shall be donated to the ISHA Executive Board.
