stroll through conifers on Simtola hill 2 kms away, hike from Binsar
Reserve Sanctuary down to the temple at Jageshwar a 2 hour drive away is
Nainital (to re-live city nostalgia). There are many places to spread
out a picnic lunch, and add to the other good parts of your life.
Kasaar Jungle Resort, is a comfortable 8
hour
drive from Delhi, via Moradabad, Kathgodam and Bhimtal. An overnight
train journey in A/c Sleeper on the Ranikhet Express leaving from Old
Delhi about 2300 hrs gets you into Kathgodam about 0600 hrs. From there,
Maruti Van taxis can reach you to The Kasaar Jungle Resort, Almora in
two and half hours. |
