I was born in Giza, I lived the first 7 years of my life in Giza, and then my dad moved us to Saudi Arabia after getting a job there. I lived there for the next 8 years. It was then that my infatuation with computers began.
I returned to Egypt in 1990, just before the Gulf war. I went to highschool in Egypt. I graduated from highschool in 1992.
Then the most fun part of my life began.. College! I studied, I had great friends, a great time and I believe I became a better person. I graduated from Cairo University's Faculty of Engineering in 1997.
I did my mandatory service in the army for one year from late 97 till early 99. It was a very useful experience for me, I learned many valuable lessons.
Then I worked for a small time software company in Egypt before moving to Seattle in January 2001.
That's a brief history of myself. My beliefs, ideologies and hobbies are a whole different story.. (:-)))
