| The following projects for 2007/2008 are in either the planning stage, bidding stage, or property aquisition stage. __________________________________ 1. Detention basin at the Eastpoint Allotment. 2. Detention basin at the rear of Glenwood middle school by the tennis courts. 3. 41st NW between Steese and Norman is slated for complete rebuild. New storm sewer, curbing and gutters. 4. New storm line, curbing and gutters on the south side of 55th St NE between Market Ave and Plain Center. |
| 5. New Storm line on 49th St NE between Cedarglenn and Gardendale. 6. Phases 2 and 3 of the Plain Center flooding issues. 7. Storm line improvements on 48th St NW. This will aleviate some of the flooding in yards on Glenport Circle and 48th St. 8. Storm line project on Kings Row and on Schuellar Dr NE. 9. Completion of lights on poles from 52nd street NE to Chapel Ridge and from Gardendale to Market Ave. 10. Upgrade of cement roads in East Point. 11. I will be working with the building department and focusing on making sure all rentals in the 8th ward are registered and that all homes in the 8th ward are maintained and kept or brought to code. 12. A personal goal of councilman Kraus is to work on getting many of the roads in the 8th ward paved. A list will be posted shortly listing specific streets that are a priority. There are obviously many projects that need completed in our ward that are not yet on these lists. Those projects are also being examined and will be able to be planned out in the upcoming years and there also may be some additional projects to even be completed in the upcoming year.
