Manga for Sale!
Due to the mess and the clutter in my room...not to mention the lack of financial funds to support myself in college, I have decided (painfully) to let go of some of my most prized possessions... my YAOI MANGA... *sniff* *sniff*
Most of the stuff I'm selling here, I bought in Singapore (this was still pre-SARS...and NO! I don't have the virus) a couple of years ago. They're also Chinese...the Japanese versions of the manga are ridiculously expensive! And since I don't understand either of the languages fluently, I bought the cheaper version...I'm after the graphics, not the action! hehe

The manga are all in good condition. I just scanned some parts so that the spine wouldn't have lines on it.

Boku no Goshujin-Sama (As You Wish)

Author: CJ Michalski
Review: Very silly PWP shota comedy about a young master who is the son of a lord (but seems to just your typical seme-ish Japanese student), and his little boy servant who is a foundling (but seems to be just your typical cute Japanese boy). It's interesting that even though the plot is an adaptation of the Western fairy tale, "Cinderella," the characters are actually very Japanese, even with their English names!
Kaen's Koments: For people who are into shota, this manga's for you! Scenes range from consensual-semiconsensual. Basically, it's a sweet manga in a twisted way!
Condition: Very Good... I realized I'm not into shota when I tried reading this book

Happy Place 1 & 2
Manga Information:
MOVIC: Daria Comics; 2001
Author: Yuuki Amow
Review: Takachi, very beautiful student who works as a fashion model at same time, finally can become a lover of very cool and square (heterosexual) high school student, Sou. Takachi seems to love Sou more strongly than Sou does, but when Sou knows Takachi's former lover happened to kiss Takachi, Sou suddenly begins to treat Takachi very fiercely because of his jealousy. The story line is not so unique (every women wish to be loved by such young guy insanely...) but the author's expression of characters' feeling is very dramatical that I could really enjoy to read this.
Kaen's Koments: This is a very sweet manga. One scene in Happy Place 1 was when Sou goes bondage (slight lang!) on Takachi coz of his jealousy over Takachi's former lover. The 2nd manga is just the continuation of their relationship, of course, having other *ahem* temptations. The manga is drawn nicely and the love scenes are always steamy and passionate.
Yaoi Rating: 8.5/10 I love the scenes! Such passion, such action!
Condition: Very Good... I just bought the 2nd book this summer.
Price: HP1 is 360 and HP2 is 380 (this one I bought recently and it's thicker than the first)...but can be negotiable if you buy both! ^,^

Heart Heart Tour
Manga Information:

Author: Asahi Shima
Review: Three various romances of adult guys and students. The story: (A new employee of travel agency, Fujieda falls in love with his senior employee, Misugi who is very able but very strict & blunt. Fujieda is very glad to become a conductor with Misugi of the tour for long & good female customers. But Fujieda gets angry at one customer who is very impudent and treats Misugi as host of host club.../Fujieda and Misugi can become couple but Misugi are very busy to have enough time for date. Then Fujieda plans unique tour of "god of marriage" for couples. Fujieda invites Misugi but Misugi cannot go with because of the accident.../The student, Masaki Shiina fears the crowds in the Christmas song because when he was a child, he was deserted by his mother at the town on Christmas day. On the Christmas day, Masaki falls into panic but he is saved by very kind guy with warm heart. Masaki knows he is a temporary & chemistry teacher, Joujima of his high school. Joujima is very enthusiastic researcher and Masaki often goes to Joujima's room and spend silent but very delight time. Masaki asks Joujima to date with him on Christmas day but Joujima cannot understand "mystery of love" and refuses Masaki's request.../Endou, the ace student of Karate club happens to save a very beautiful student with a lot of bad rumor with many guys. Endou tries to rape the rumored student because he knew Endou's name but refused the date with Endou... Endou knows all rumor is wrong except one truth...). All the stories are very powerful, speedy and very emotional. The art is also very vigorous & speedy. Travel agency is very nice idea and the theme of second story (Mad scientist finds the mystery of the human's love is as interesting as the mystery of "mold") and the third stories' ending is very stylish. The author makes great progress in making drama!
Kaen's Koments: The last 10 or so pages of this manga almost gave me a major nosebleed! It was one of the most graphically drawn art I've ever seen. Gawd! *takes deep breath* whew! Really intense there. There's also a bit of semi-consensual scenes.
Condition: Good... just bought this recently

Soshite Haru no Tsuki

Kaen's Koments: Being the Chinese illiterate that I am, I can only so much as understand the story through the art... but I guess I might be mistaken so I'll just research and look for more knowledgeable reviews and synopses. I'd rather not tell you things that even I don't know. Ok, based from the art, the manga's setting is historical...probably towards the end of the Tokugawa going to the first years of the Meiji Period. There's yaoi (of course!), shota... there's between a man and a boy and a slight hinting between two boys. There's a bit of rape (shota, too) also.
Condition: Good...just bought this recently.

Haru wo Deitaita
Manga Information:
Author: Nitta Youka
Review: Youka Nitta's long running (for a beboy story, that is) series about
two porn stars, Kyousuke Iwaki and Youji Katou, does something rare: it gets
better the longer it goes.
Iwaki-san is five years older than Katou, and the two straight-porn actors meet
in an audition for a gay sex flick. With some flipping around of who's on top
(another fun rarity), Katou ends up the seme in the movie, and begins to
convince Iwaki to 1. have more self-confidence, and 2. Gay sex can be lots of
fun.
Thus, story wise, a good read, and worth sticking to - I'm always
impressed with an artist that can put in LOTS of sex that always seem well timed
and relevant to what's going on.
Art wise and smut wise, definitely a good investment; her sex scenes are great
fun to drool over, and her smooth style and expressive faces are easy on the
eyes. Nitta's men are certainly masculine - the one major flaw being the fact
that if you do the "clothes-hair removal test," they'd all look pretty close to
exactly alike. But her stuff is beautiful. Not to mention she has one of the
funniest atogaki artist SD's I've ever seen.
Kaen's Koments: Nitta Youka-san is one of the best yaoi mangaka. They have
plots, the sex is related to the story line and has usually very nice concepts. Based from the synopsis, I can say that the characters,
being porn stars, I can say that this series will have lots of sex in it... and
I do mean lots. Unfortunately, I only have book 5. I chose it for the ff
reasons:
1. The art here's better than the previous books. Nitta-san's art is usually drawn with elongated faces and really tall statures.
Think Bronze.
2. There's this scene here which involves hot springs and two hot, gorgeous, not to mention naked men. Yum!
3. Lack of money

Kinbaku no Ori Vol. 1
Manga Information:
Kousai Shobou: Kousai Comics; 2000
Author: Nakamura Rumi
Review: A dangerous and very angtsy SM story with very explicit sex scenes. The hero had a serious trauma (seeing his mother in SM scenes) so he could not love anybody naturally. Then he made his classmate into his sex slave even though he really loved his friend. Very dramatic plot and the readers can sympathize with the feelings of love & hate of both the hero and his classmate, and understand why the hero who hated himself could love his classmate only by being cruel and degrading him.
Kaen's Koments: Explicit is an understatement. If not for the sensors (mind you, this is a Chinese version), this is a very hardcore manga. With lots of fluids flying here and there, you can never distinguish sweat, saliva, water and *ahem*...semen. Besides that, there is a lot of emotional turmoil going on between the two characters.
Nakamura-san is highly known for making manga that is always in the line of S&M, bondage and non-con scenes. I heard Vol. 2 is much more hard-core'y' than this one... this is a sold-out manga for yaoi extremists.
Condition: Good.
