Maisons-Laffitte is located to the Northwest in the suburbs of Paris. The City was first called "Maisons-sur-Seine," then renamed in 1882 to "Maisons-Laffitte" after the banker Jacques Laffitte who helped finance housing developments on the property of Chateau de Maisons-Laffitte.
The Population is 21,856 People, in an area of 6.75 square Kilometers.
The City is divided into two main areas. The City; more ubran, apartments, and smaller houses around the outside of the city. The other part is called "The Parc" The park is a place for larger houses, with yards and many community parks. The horse track and stables are also located with in the Park.

The map to the right is what the city looks like by Google. The small arrow is where I am living, in relation to the park, The main road, the RER A station, as well as the Chateau de Maisons-Laffitte (To the right of the road crossing the Seine River.)
The lowest photo is the apartment that we are living in. We occupy the top floor, which is 2 leveled. The roof shows 3 'sky light' and 2 outcropped windows. Those belong to the upper living room and the kid's play areas. My bed room is loacted just below the center sklylight, on the level below. Photos
