| Wedding Reception |
| We are lucky to be able to have two wedding parties held in Hong Kong and Tokyo to invite our family and friends to celebrate our big day. The following is the timeline of all wedding party-related activites (all in year 2000): February - proposal (of course the answer was Yes) March - HK reception venue hunting and reservation March - Karen moved to Tokyo Japan April - marriage registration in Japan April - our parents met in Japan May - Tokyo reception venue hunting and reservation June - tailor-made wedding dress and tuxedo ordered June - wedding pictures taken June - wedding ring ordered November - wedding reception in HK December - wedding reception in Tokyo December - honeymoon in Guam |
| My parents - for your approval of our marriage and unlimited supports throughout the years. Toshi's family - for coming all the way to join our party in HK. My brother and Mr. Nicholas Chan - for being the photographers, drivers, Toshi's bestmen.... anyway, thanks so much! |
| The Hong Kong party was held on November 17, 2000 in HK Island Shangri-la Hotel. The whole day was like minute - so many things happened in so little time. Therefore I would like to express my thanks to the following people who made this party a successful and memorable one. |

| My aunts and uncles - who came from all over the world (Canada, Singapore, Spain, USA) back to HK. My aunt Maria and mum - for so much planning and running around. My bridesmaids (Ms. Maggie Au, Ms. Adeline Chan, Ms. Angela Chan, Ms. Vena Ho and Ms. Judy Wong) - for taking care of all my worries. |
| Mr. Jorge Oltra who traveled from China to be Toshi's bestman. Mr. and Mrs. Kwok for cleaning my rental dress (I got wax dropped on the dress during the candle service). All guests who came to celebrate with us. |
