| Did you meet at work? Are most of your friends from work? Why not have your wedding in your work site lunch room? or . . . The Inland Empire has some of the most beautiful locations for weddings in the U.S. Outdoor weddings in nearby parks are a delightful option. Local restaurant banquet rooms and hotel conference rooms can provide exceptionally lovely venues. If the most romantic place you can think of is the turn-out on North 'E' Street, on Little Mountain, in San Bernardino, because that's where your partner proposed - Why not try for a ceremony there? But, if you dread the wedding ceremony, and yet look forward to the honeymoon - you can exchange vows in the limousine on the way to the airport. Remember - this is your wedding |

| RESTAURANTS If you're looking for the most inexpensive location for your wedding, remember to include everything in your cost estimate. At home weddings are not always the cheapest, and the expense of a wedding in the park can add up to be much more than a wedding in a nice restaurant. Restaurants usually charge you for food and service only, not for the site, or space you use, as do parks and wedding halls. If you have the reception in your back yard, you're probably going need chairs and tables from the party rental place. And you'll need to mow the law, plant flowers, pull out all the weeds and move that ATV you're rebuilding. Most restaurants are air-conditioned, the staff are friendly and helpful, plus the seating is more comfortable than those metal fold-up chairs from the rental place. Advantages of the Restaurant Wedding include restroom facilities; are you going to have to rent a portable bathroom for your guests? How about parking facilities? Think about where your guests are going to park if you have your wedding at your home. How far will gramma and grampa have to walk? Is there Handicapped Parking in front of your house? There are many hotels and restaurants that have banquet facilities. Some are more formal, and if you time your wedding correctly, they may provide music and dancing for after the reception. Some are less formal, coffee shops sometimes have banquet facilities where you could probably feed your 20 or 30 guest for way under the price of renting a hall and hiring caterers, or even hiring caterers and staff to serve in your back yard. |
