The Queenstown Alpine Ski Team (QAST) is an autonomous incorporated sporting body administered by a voluntary board. It provides a race training programme for alpine skiers aged eight years to senior level.

QAST acknowledges the support and commitment of nzski.com in providing mountain space, race sponsorship and personnel for the programme.

It is the largest training programme in the South Island and is a recognised leader in the provision of quality race training in New Zealand.

SKIING EXCELLENCE is the mission statement and this is strived for in all areas - training, coaching, management, administration, and conducting races.

Athletes from all over New Zealand and a limited number from overseas make up the Team. The programme offers a holistic approach to the sport of ski racing, assisting individuals to reach their goals and achieve self-fulfilment.
