New Year's Eve 2000 in the Big Easy

To ring in the real millenium, we travelled to New Orleans.  The Gator's were playing the
        Hurricanes in the Sugar Bowl, so it was my kind of crowd ... filled with Gators!  

 Amy, who happened to be there for the game, and I the night before the real party!  For those who don't know, Amy was one of my college roommates, and we continue to keep in touch!

 Here I am displaying what was referred to as a "huge ass beer"!

 No trip to Nawlins is complete without a stop a Pat O'Briens.  I can't remember the name of this drink, but I think it's more a St. Patty's Day beverage than New Year's!  Nevertheless, Lisa found it quite tasty!

 Of course, we partied hard on New Year's Eve, despite the freezing temps.  Here's Nadine, Jackie, Shannon, Tandy and Lisa ringing in the New Year.
