Karapiro         School 

Karapiro District School is situated 7 km south of Cambridge in State Highway 1.We serve the surrounding farming district as well as Karapiro Village. The students who come to Karapiro District School have traditionally been from farming backgrounds though this is slowly altering due to the changing land use in the area and a number of 'rural sub-divisions' being developed. We work hard to retain our rural identity and community focus, as this is a valued feature of our school. We provide many opportunities for the parents and community to be involved in the students’ learning. We do this through school camps, our electives programme and a number of EOTC activities. The Board of Trustees works hard to support the school in the variety of relevant and stimulating learning experiences.
