Reflections
Now reflect on what was seen throughout the pages as you observe two pictures of how it all started.  Take a moment to write down your thoughts in the guestbook regarding the website as you answer the question below.  Do you believe that there are lasting effects of the African Holocaust, The Maafa, such as the color complex issue or do you think that African Americans are overly sensitive?
Feedback
Overall, I loved the fact that we were given freedom to choose a topic of interest when designing our website.  I found information that added depth to what I already knew regarding African Americans and the film industry.  Finding information was not difficult but it did take some time.  This is due to the vast amount of information out there.  All of the facts that I found seemed equally important and I had a hard time determining which one was more relevant.

The problems that I did encounter were downloading pictures onto my site.  I found a lot of rare posters and photographs of people that time has forgotten such as James Baskett and Hattie McDaniels.  I tried to substitute items that represented them yet the pages still seemed incomplete.  Not getting the pictures on my site is one of the few regrets that I have about the project other than time.  I wish I had figured out my topic earlier so I could have spent more time on gathering the information.  Designing the site became fun once I understood how to use it.  As stated above the only difficulty that I had was trying to put pictures on the page.  The best advice that I can think of is to narrow down your topic in advance because it will help in your search for sources.
