It is perhaps a virtual law that every modern anime/manga geek knows at least the name Naruto, and very likely has seen fanart or read fanfiction or watched at least one episode or read one chapter of the manga.

How'd I get roped in? Two very good fanfictions: The Way of the Apartment Manager by Elizabeth Culmer and Juppon Buki by Istoria, both on ff.net. Wonderfully written fanfictions that were so great that even though I knew close to nothing about the Narutoverse that I came to love it and its world, thus I decided to learn more about this very popular manga/anime.

An interesting point about how I entered the Narutoverse: The Way of the Apartment Manager is a OC-centric fanfiction and Juppon Buki is a Tenten-centric fanfiction. These were not centered around the main characters (Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke) and so I got into the fandom through minor characters and outer fringes, along with the impressions of these two great fanfictions. The ramflications of this is that my favorite character is Tenten and I like looking at the big picture of things and character dynamics, perhaps a bit more than others. And of course, since I got into Naruto through fanfiction I "learned" not sequentially but in arcs or chunks, so my timeline and background is a bit haphazard. But when I get into a fandom, I get into it; I read everything and watch everything. XP

But that's perhaps a great deal irrevelant to you and all everyone seems to care about (XP) is the pairings an author supports and writes. Well, here's mine:
NejiTen and Everything Else.

Yep. NejiTen happens to be my favorite (because of Juppon Buki) but yes, I do support every pairing. I will read anything and everything and thus while I have a particular favorite that will not stop me from reading a NejiSakura or writing a NaruSaku and a NaruHina simultaneously.
