In 2002 I was lucky enough to have two quilts accepted into the Pacific International Quilt Festival.
One was my Tempête d'Aurore, and the other was "Good Things Come to Those Who Wait".
This is the only time I have remade a quilt. I originally made this for my father, and brought it to my guild to show the ladies in my quilting circle. One of the ladies tried every trick in the book to get it from me, and I jokingly told her "The only way you'll get this quilt is if I draw your name in our Chrismas exchange next year." I still don't know how she rigged it, but when we drew names, I knew I was making a quilt. :)
