In early 2002, our guild had Ricky Tims lecture and teach a class. If you ever get a chance to take one of his classes, do it! He's quite inspirational.

The first picture was inspired by his lecture that included his Harmonic Convergence quilts. I'm calling this one Tempête d'Aurore. This quilt was juried in to the Pacific International Quilt Festival in 2002.

The next quilt top is from Ricky's "Caveman Quilting Class", which taught us a very free-form fast method of piecing. What fun!
