Frequently Asked Questions
What is Rush?
Rush is a two week priod where male and female students who are interested in join Greek Life.  During the first week of rush all greek organizations will set up table where they will have information about there organizatoin.  Usually the table are set up inside the Campus Center where the old book store was located or in the lobby in teh bottom floor.  During the second week of rush each organization will hold events.  Events in the past for Kappa have been, movies, celtics game, pool, arcade, bowling, pitch and putt, and for the last event we always go to the Boston Hooters.  All events are free for all rushees, however, to go to Hooters you need to at least attend 2 out of the 3 events before that.
Who is allowed to attend Kappa's rush events?

Sorry girls, but Kappa Delta Phi is a Fraturnity and is only for men.....dont worry guys we still spend plenty of time with the ladies.  Non-fraternal males are allowed to come to Kappa's rush evnts.  Meaning any male that is not already a member of a fratrernity.
How can I join Kappa Delta Phi?

The best way to join Kappa would be to attend the rush events, meet the brothers and ask as many questions that you can think of to get a better idea of what greek life is all about.
If I dont know any of the brothers can i still rush Kappa Delta Phi?
Sure you can. You do not need to know any brother of Kappa Delta Phi to join.  That is what rush is for so you get a chance to get to know us and we get to know you.
Can I still attend the FREE events if i do not sign up at the table during the first week of rush?

Yes, you do not need to sign up at the table to go to the events, however, when yo do sign up at the table it helps us get in contact with you so you can find out what time or if there has been any changes to times, meeting locations or event.
Once the events have started in the second week we will still post flyers around campus so if you did not have a chance to come to the table you still know where, and when to go for the events.
What happens after rush has ended?

It seems that everyone wants to know about that.....but that is something that you will just have to find out yourslef.
Is there anyone I may contact for more information or have any questions answered that were not covered?
Yes, you can email Michael Boucher Jr. @ [email protected]
