Thesis

Modeling for Service oriented Architecture in eGovernance.

The aim is to build framework - principles, guidelines, tools and techniques - for composing services at semantic level in eGovernance domain. In this thesis we present composition models as guidelines for composing Semantic services. Also more semantics are added to Semantic Services in the form of Exceptions, Contracts and Aspects. Composibility rules are defined for each of this composition models. Aspects in the domain of eGovernance are identified and the result is presented in the Aspect catalogue.

Project undertaken

• eGovernance: Modeling framework for eGovernance. The project aims at designing tool support for modeling activities of eGovernance Domain Expert especially in modeling government Infrastructure, i.e. Government Hierarchy and Aspects.

• BITS Linux: Design and development of core utilities for BITS Linux operating system. The aim is to design and develop ?Remote package installation and management system. http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in/bitslinux/

• IPv6@BITS: Design and development of native IPv6-based collaborative environment. The aim of this project has been to develop the means of total communication within an organization that would be usable both in education as well as professional field. http://ipv6.bits-pilani.ac.in

• CALT, Insead Business school: The focus of internship is to design and develop framework for collaborative games. [currently doing]

• City Online Services: It is an Internet Service Provider working in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The area of study was Bandwidth Management using inbuilt packet filtering capability of Linux Kernel. http://www.cityonlines.com

• Corpus Labs: It is an entrepreneurial software firm working in the domain of Health care solutions. The area of study was connectivity between distributed standalone applications through XML web services using .NET framework. http://www.corpuslabs.com
