AJ postpones wedding |

According to an interview in Us Weekly with AJ McLean and his fiancee, Sarah Martin, the wedding which was to take place on Valentine's Day 2003 has been postponed. In the interview, AJ said he, for reasons unknown, "fell off the wagon," took some caffeine pills and smoked some marijuana. He has since gotten "back on the wagon" and is over 90 days sober again. But the real reason he and Sarah postponed their wedding is because AJ cheated on her for one night with a woman he was working with in the studio. He doesn't know why he did it, but he did it. He kept saying he is still madly in love with Sarah. Sarah is waiting things out. They have both moved out of the house they shared, but still own it. AJ is staying with his sponsor.

Nick's tour got off to a shaky start with postponements and cancelled shows in early February due to the bad weather that hit the east coast. It is advisable to call the venue at which shows are being held to make sure your tickets are still good.

In other news, this is possibly a rumor (and although I don't post them I think this deserves noting). It seems Jive has shelved "Now or Never" and has stopped promoting the solo effort by Nick Carter. Is this because of the lawsuit filed against them claiming they put Nick's CD in front of a new Backstreet CD and released "Chapter One" a year before the Boys really wanted it to be released? No one can be for certain, but things certainly seem that way. :-/ |

Nick Carter has just released "I Got You" as his second single in Europe. The single features a song he co-wrote called "Rock Star Baby." It is available to download at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thebackstreetbuzz.
Kevin will be appearing in "Chicago" on Broadway in New York in March. The Boys are scheduled to start recording their next album after his run in the show is done.
