He said standing up reaching for her hands to help her up. "Yeah, maybe." She said pulling herself up, holding on to Nick for support. She felt like she was just gonna drop. She was really exhausted from everything lately. Too much stress she thought. "What are you thinking about baby?" Nick asked noticing the concentrating look on her face. "Hmm...me? I'm just thinking about how good it sounds to hear you call me baby and how good it feels to finally be in your arms again." She said resting her head against his chest as he ran his hands up and down her back pulling her closer. "Wanna get out of here?" Nick asked knowing how uncomfortable it must be for her to be standing around a bunch of staring people considering that he felt the hint of being uncomfortable too. "Yeah, but will you go tell Em? I just don't really feel like talking right now. Just let her know I�m going with you." Ashley replied holding on to him tighter. "Baby, if you want me to go tell her you gotta let go of me for a sec." Nick replied laughing slightly. "Sorry" Ashley let out letting go slowly. For some reason she was afraid that he wasn't going to come back. She didn't know why, that's just what she felt. Nick looked at her and noticed the scared look in her eyes when it hit him what she was thinking. "Baby, wait right here. I'll be back I promise." She only nodded and watched him go. "Hey Emily!" He greeted more happy then ever. Finally he was happy, he had what he wanted for so long. He had Ashley back. "Um...hey Nick." Emily said a little disappointed that Nick had came to her and not Ashley. "Ash just wanted me to tell you that she's leavin with me." Nick said smiling. "Um...ok." Emily replied even more disappointed but put on a fake smile. "ok, later girl!" Nick said walking away. "Bye." Emily said getting up and getting ready to leave when she remembered that Ashley drove and she didn't have a way home. "Shit, Nick!" She yelled running towards him. "What?" He said turning around. "Gotta problem, Ashley drove me here and I don't have a way home." Emily replied breathing hard from running. "Wait right here, I�ll be right back." Nick said sprinting quickly to where Ashley was sitting. "Nick, you came back." Ashley said getting up and hugging him tightly. "Baby..." Nick started kind of sad she was so afraid of him leaving and not coming back. "I mean, why wouldn't you come back? Well actually I don't know what I�m saying because there are tons of reasons you wouldn't wanna come back. You just now realized you really don't wanna be with me and you don't lov..." Nick cut her off by kissing her gently on the lips. She sighed against his lips and kissed him back. Nick pulled away slowly and looked her straight in the eyes. He brushed the hair that was in her face away by tucking it behind her ear looking at her so lovingly. "No, none of that's true. Listen to me, there is never gonna be a time when I don't wanna be with you. I wanna be with you forever and no less. Maybe more if we can make it possible but no less than that, and baby? You know I love you, don't ever think I don't." He leaned forward and kissed her nose and placed his forehead against hers. "I love you, remember that for me ok?" And without even waiting for her to answer he kissed her lips again. As he pulled away from her he remembered about Emily. "Oh yeah, baby? You drove Emily here and she doesn't have a way home." Nick said as he noticed Ashley digging in her purse to find her keys. "Just give her my keys." Ashley replied smiling and handing them to Nick. Ashley was surprised to feel Nick's lips on hers as he kissed her. "I love you baby." He said against her lips as he pulled away. "Nick, I love you too but what was that one for?" Ashley replied still confused as to why he kissed her that time. "Just glad to see you smiling, and I thought I�d try to get some of that smile to wear off on me. ok, now I�m lying, I had to kiss you. I wanted to really bad." Nick honestly confessed kissing her again. "Nick, you keep kissing me and we're gonna get thrown out of the mall for some major display of public affection, ok more like display of public sex, but really." Ashley replied laughing. "ok ok, one more than I qu..." but before he could kiss her she interrupted him by kissing him. "Damn, I love you baby. I guess I should take these keys to Em though, don't move. I'll be right back." Nick said kissing her one last time and walking towards Emily. "She said just take her car." Nick said handing her the keys and running off as quickly as he could. He wanted to get back to Ashley really fast. "Well that was nice and short." Emily said to herself and took the keys and walked out to the parking lot to leave. "Hey sexy, where you wanna go?" Nick whispered in Ashley's ear as he came up behind her. "Hmm...I don't see anything sexy about me. I mean come on Nick, adidas snap up pants that are literally huge on me and a tank top, I�m not comprehending with you here. Explain big boy." Ashley said turning around smiling at him. "Well let me get you to the car and we'll talk sexy, but seriously where you wanna go?" Nick said smiling back. "Well actually not to ruin your fun or anything, I wanna go home and go to bed. I'm so tired, I don't even know why either but I just wanna sleep right now." She said yawning as she finished her sentence. "You read my mind baby, I haven't slept good in a while. Do you want me to pick you up later then?" Nick replied wanting to be with her at least some today. "Nah, how would you pick me up if you're already at my house? You gotta come sleep with me." Ashley said looking at him and pleading for him to with her eyes. "Oh I do huh? Well actually that sounds like a really good idea." Nick said with a smirk. "No No, Nick honey, sleepin's the game when we get there." Ashley said catching on to his smirk. "I know baby I�m playin with you, let's go." Nick said wrapping his arm around her and walking her out to his durango. Not even half way home Ashley was asleep with her head in Nick's lap. As he pulled up to her house he gently picked her head up and laid it on the seat so he could go around and carry her in. He picked her up slowly so not to wake her up and went to open the door hoping it was unlocked because there was no way he would have even been able to get the key from under the mat. To his surprise it was unlocked and he walked in, shut the door, locked it, and headed to her room. He pulled the covers back and gently laid her on the bed. He took her shoes off and pulled the covers over her. He sat there and stared at her for a while running his fingers lightly through her hair. He took his shoe's and shirt off and climbed in bed beside her. He pulled her close so that her head was resting on his chest and wrapped his arms around her. "I love you Ashley." He whispered and kissed her forehead softly and fell asleep. "Ashley Nichole Whitmore!" They both woke up startled. "Mom? What?" Ashley sleepily said then realized Nick was still there. "Oh, shit. Mom, this isn't what you think, really." She said holding Nick in fear that her mom was gonna come over to her and beat the shit out of her. Nick noticed this and held her tighter. "Watch your language young lady. Your father and I would like to talk to you two downstairs." She said glaring at the both of them. "Now!" And with that she slammed the door...............
