He slowly turned around and came face to face with Ashley, the person he wanted to see more than anything right now. "Ash..." His voice caught in his throat and he couldn't seem to say anything else. He just stood there and stared. She looks so hurt. I can see it in her eyes. Why did I fucking hurt her? Why? Damnit, I am some piece of work actually thinking for a second that I�d even have the chance of getting her back. Nick soon broke out of his thoughts when he heard Emily talking. "Um...guys? I'm sensing you two need to talk. Ash, I�m just gonna go pick somewhere to eat." And with that she left the two of them standing there just staring at each other not saying a thing at all to each other. "Hey Nick, how are you?" Ashley let out trying to act like nothing was wrong and strike up a normal conversation with him. "Truthfully, I�ve been better. How are you?" Nick replied being honest about how he really was. He knew he couldn't sit there and lie and say he was fine when he knew he was on the verge of begging and crying for her to come back to him. "I'm ok" Ashley replied with a fake smile that Nick saw right through. "So..." Ashley said a little anxious to get this over with. "I miss you." Nick let out sadly looking straight into her soft brown eyes wishing that she would tell him the same in return but instead just as he suspected, "Nick, don't. Please." Ashley said almost crying. "I have to. I can't go on like this anymore without you. We were meant for each other remember? You're my baby girl forever. I love you. Just give me a second chance or at least think about it. Talk to me, tell me what you wanna hear. I'll do anything, say anything. I just wanna make you forgive me for what I did. I can't live with myself knowing that I hurt you and now not having you only makes that more true." Nick let out almost ready to keep going when he noticed her crying freely now. He gently placed his hands on her cheeks wiping away her tears with his thumbs and gently caressing her face. He looked at her a little more until he began again. "Ashley? Ashley look at me, please. Baby, please, I�m beggin you, just listen to me." She lifted her head up and met his gaze getting lost in his eyes with tears streaming down her face. "I love you more than anything baby. You're my whole world. Losing you killed me. I'm so dead and empty without you. Just...tell me what you want. I wanna know what YOU want. You know what I want but don't let that affect what you want. I mean because if you don't wanna be with me then there isn't anything I can do because I want you happy and if you don't want me then having me anyway isn't gonna make you happy. She let out crying even more, so bad she couldn't finish as she dropped to the floor and cried even harder. She wrapped her arms around herself trying to get some comfort in it. She knew there had to be a crowd around them by now. She felt so stupid but she couldn't help it, she couldn't hold it in anymore. She just wanted to let it all out and get all the crying over with. Nick knelt down next to her and he very cautiously and slowly wrapped his arms around her tiny figure. He felt so bad that he was putting her through all this and he knew this was the last time he could try to get her back. He hurt her enough by what he did and now by trying to get her back he saw how much all the hurt started all over again and he knew that she couldn't, and didn't need, to deal with anymore. "Nick, don't. Just don't. I don't need you. Just get away from me and don't touch me!" Ashley let out practically screaming and pushing him away but he wasn't letting go. "No Ash, I�m not letting you go, I can't. I wanna be with you so bad and I know you wanna be with me. Listen, I know you're hurting because of what I did but to tell you the truth, I�m hurting worse.
