If You Knew What I Knew by Claudia ([email protected]) Chapter 10 - Blind Okay, today was the day. It was the sixth of June and Ellen and I were on our way to the Amsterdam ArenA by train. While I was watching the flat dutch landscape flashing by me I couldn't help but wonder what the guy from the collapsed building was doing now. Wanting to know if he thought of me as much as I did about him... Ellen was listening to her discman, she didn't like going to concerts and not knowing the lyrics of the songs so she had rented all the Backstreet Boys' CD's at our local library and was flipping through the CD booklets whilst softly humming along. I, in the mean time, was acting quite grumpy because I had been practically forced into coming with her but at the same time I had the jitters like I had before every big event... The show at the Arena was going to be HUGE, it was sold out and 61.000 people were going to be there. Thanks to the minor accident Ellen had when she almost killed Brian we had V.I.P. box tickets and backstage passes for tonight... I prayed that I at least liked one of the warming up acts... Because I really still had the feeling that I was wasting my time here and I could be at home having a great time "Follow me ladies..." A big guy let us through the artist entrance after we had shown him our passes and brought us to the dressingrooms. "Mr. Littrell, there are two ladies here to see you..." He said after a quick rap on the door. "Let them in..." a voice answered and the door swung open. There they were, they all looked up when Bri' had opened the door and I felt weird meeting these guys without actually being a major fan. Quickly I tried to remember all the names before I made a fool introducing myself to them and calling them by the wrong names. Ellen had taught me that Kevin was the tall dark one, A.J. was the one with tattoos... immediately I panicked; they were all wearing long sleeves, I couldn't see tattoos on any of 'em! "Hi, you must be the Ellen Bri' told us so much about and you're her friend right?" One of the guys came up to me and shook both our hands. I just nodded and sat down beside Brian, the only one I kinda felt I knew because Ellen had told me so much about him already. So we chatted a while and all of the sudden I heard A.J.'s voice...
