Friends Forever Chapter 4 "woo! Baby! Nice threads!" Brian blushed and looked down at his swimming trunks and undershirt. They (Brian, Julie, Nick, Kevin, and some of their friends) were swimming at Julies parents house in Kentucky. "Shush your mouth girl, your wearing less then I am" Brian called back to Julie, who had made the previous remark. "Maybe, but at least I ain't got nothin to hide. Come on, I wanna see the scar." Julie said as she climbed out of the pool and grabbed at Brians shirt. He jumped away playfully. "This scar is between me and the doctors. Why do you think I'm wearing this shirt?" he asked, grinning. "Because you don't want to honor us with the delight of seeing you barechested?" Amanda, one of Julies friends, jokingly guessed. "That too, but mostly I wanna hide my scar." He jumped away again and ran off running as Julie grabbed at his shirt again. She ran after, giggling. "Hey, muscle man! Give the ladys what they want!" Nick hooted from his place in the pool. "Why don't you?" Brian yelled and cannon balled next to where Nick was, soaking him. "Brian? You sure you should be doing all this?" Kevin asked worriedly. "Sure, dad. I'm fine. Maybe you should be more worried about your girlfriend. I hear shes over the hill." Kevin turned bright red and opened his mouth to correct his cousin. Rickie, his girlfriend, stepped in. "Hey, I may look old, but I'm under 30, and definatly under forty, young man." she said with her hands on her hips, looking at Brian threateningly. Suddenly, they all burst out laughing. "Hey Julie, come on in, the waters fine!" Nick called to her, who was standing by the pool, watching them and shaking her head. "Fine but I'm not cannon balling like Brian did, wouldn't want my bikini top falling off, now would we?" she said as she climbed down the steps. "Well, I don't know about that..." Willis (friend of Kevins) said laughing. He nudged Brian with his arm, who just turned as red as a tomato. Julie rolled her eyes. The guys were always teasing them like that. "Watch this! I'll jump in the pool and we'll see if her top will fall off, I'm wearing the same kind as her! Just different colors!" Amanda called as she got out and positioned herself to jump back in. "That won't prove anything, and anyway, we aren't the same size on top!" Julie exclaimed. Her friend shrugged and jumped in anyway. She came back up, shaking her head. She looked down, still on. She smiled and shrugged again. "Darn, I guess Santa didn't get my wish list this year." Willis said, grinning. Nick slapped him on the back of the head. "You dolt, it's not christmas, it's spring!" Nick explained. "Oh yeah, forgot. Oh, well. I still didn't get my wish." Amanda just smiled, enjoying the attention. Suddenly, Rickie jumped out of the pool and boogied over to the Cd player. She held up some of the Cds. Aerosmith, New Radicals, Savage Garden, Greenday, and Barenaked ladies. "Which one yall want?" she called. "Barenaked ladies, no question!" Willis yelled, looking at Amanda. Most of them agreed, having to agree with Willis. "K!" The rest of the pool party was a blast, Julie and Brian stayed a friendship distance and so did most everyone else, except Rickie and Kevin and maybe Willis and Amanda. Who knows?Next: Chapter 5 |
