Friends Forever Chapter 5 "You know, this is like a scene right out of Dawson's Creek." Brian said from his place on the bed next to Julie. "Oyegh? Og?" she swallowed her mouthful of popcorn "I mean, yeah? so?" "Classy." he commented about the popcorn thing "I mean when Joey and Dawson have movie night." "Since when do you watch teenage soap operas?" "Since the hospitals visiting hours end before Dawsons Creek is on. Buffy is cool, too." "Gosh, you sound like one of your fans. "Buffy is cool, too." " She mimicked. "oooh. Your gonna get it!" Brian pounced on her, ignoring the movie Titanic. He tickled and wrestled her until he somehow wound up on top of her. He blushed deeply. "Uh... sorry." He started to move but she stopped him by kissing him. After the kiss, he stared into her eyes. "Wha...?" he mumbled. "Brian? Have you ever heard that saying?" Julie asked quietly. "What saying?" he asked, he still seemed kind of surprised by the kiss. "The saying that goes 'I believe that the only reason to live, is to love and be loved.' Do you know who said that?" she questioned. "No, I've never heard it before, who?" "I don't know. But it was a very smart person." "Julie-Angel?" "Yes, Brian?" "I love you. More then a friend." he said. "You do? What made you decide to say that?" "I finally have you to where you can't run away from love. No matter how your life has gone, you can't run forever." "I know Brian, I've tried too long. I love you too, but everything seems so confusing." "I know you Julie, I know it's hard for you to love anyone, let alone you best friend for nearly 20 years." "It's so easy to get hurt..." Julie suddenly became overwhelmed by the love in Brians eyes so close to hers. She turned her head. He put his hand to her face, which shifted his weight off of one arm and pressed him against her more, and turned her face back towards him. "I'll never hurt you, Julie. You know that better then I do." He kissed her again."Whens the pizza gonna get here?" Willis asked, rubbing his stomach in a sign that he was hungry. "Whenever it gets here, duh." Amanda nudged him with her elbow. "Well, duh." he replied. "Nick, would you go see whats taking Brian and Julie? They had their movie night last night and we haven't seen them since. It's almost noon. They must've watched Titanic twice." Kevin told Nick, who saluted, grabbed the missing couples spare keycards and headed to the elevator. He decided to check Julie's hotel room first, since it was closer, he knocked. No answer. He fished in his pocket for her spare keycard. He opened the door, no Julie. It looked like her bed hadn't even been slept in. He wasn't worried, Julie and Brian often fell asleep on their rare Movie Nights. He went down the hall and knocked on Brians door, no answer there either. He used the keycard. He opened the door. "Hello?" he called, as he turned the corner to where the bed and Tv were. He made a little surprised noise at what he saw. Julie sensed his presense and woke up first. She looked at him sleepily. "Guess you told him last night, huh?" Nick asked when he was finally able to find his voice. "Yeah, and he told me." Julie said from her place with her head laying on Brian's bare chest....Next: Chapter 6 |
