Friends Forever Chapter 3 Julie walked into her apartment around 6 that evening. She was worried about what Brian and Nick were possibly talking about, but there wasn't alot she could do about it. She unlocked to door and looked around. Drafty and empty as it had usually been since Brian had gone into the hospital and she stopped having him and his friends stopping by at the spur of the moment. She checked her messages. None. Well, she wasn't exactly super model beautiful. Just good old girl next door reliable Julie. She sighed, wondering again about what they were saying. She couldn't beleive how she had gotten so emotional earlier. Nick always seemed to be around when she was upset. He was like her angel. She plopped down on the nearest seat and grabbed the remote. She turned on the Tv and started channel surfing. Just as Julie was almost convinced that there was nothing good on Tv, the phone rang. Startled, she snatched up the phone and clicked it on. "Hello?" she exclaimed quickly, sounding like she had been punched in the stomach. "Julie, it's me, Nick" "Well? What did he say?" "I didn't tell him. He started saying he thought he had feelings for you but that he thought everything was freaking out. He went on and on about how he wanted things to be normal again. I couldn't confuse things more." "I'm actually relieved. Very relieved. I want things to go back for awhile and then when things ae calm, we can bother sorting our feelings." "Are you sure you'll be okay, though? You seemed pretty upset..." "I'm going to be fine. Just as long as I don't hear the word love from Brian for awhile." "I don't think you have to worry about that too much. He seemed pretty set on making things normal again." "Good." she sighed, suddenly very tired from her long day. "I think I'm going to hit the sack. I suddenly feel drained right now." "Ok, Good-night Julie-angel." he said jokingly using Brians name for her. "Good-night. Hey, their re-running your special on Mtv, I think I'll watch it and go to bed afterwards." "K.
