Destiny Is Everything Chapter 16 - Far and Apart Four-and-a-half months passed by. (Brian eventually had to leave town with the Boys for their tour.) Danielle and Brian had kept in touch mainly through telephone calls, letters, and e-mail. She also saw him on t.v. and on magazine covers occasionally. She missed him like crazy, but she could do nothing about it. Her job had her stationed there in Virginia--for the time-being, anyway. When Danielle longed to have somebody to talk to or for just a mere comforting hug, it made things that much harder. This time apart from Brian only reinforced her belief that he truly was the one for her. She knew she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life. Brian meant everything to her; he was her world, her love, her hope, her life. Whe he was hurting, she, likewise, was hurting. When he was happy, she felt it, too. As she finished her thoughts, she reached over to her computer desk and picked up the framed photo of Brian. Observing his smiling, sunny face, Danielle couldn't help but smile. She kissed the picture and set it back down on the desktop, wistfulness growing stronger in her heart.Next: Chapter 17 |
