Destiny Is Everything Chapter 1 - Downside of Touring Walking along the beach at the beginning of sunrise, Brian bent down to pick up a pebble. With all his might, he tossed it as far out into the ocean as he could. Seagulls squawked noisily overhead. Brian sat down on the cool sand, embracing his knees with his arms. The other guys were back at the rented beach house sleeping. Brian stared out at the sea for a long time. This was one of those times when no matter how many fans he knew he had out there in the world adoring him, he just could not help feeling a wee bit lonely. No matter what the other guys said, even Nick, they could not help fill the void he felt in his heart. He longed so much to go home at a time like this. An hour and a half passed by. Brian decided it was time to head back to the house. When he got there, Nick was the only one awake. "Hey, Bri. Where have you been?", Nick asked. "Nowhere. Just walking on the beach," Brian said. "You look sad. What's wrong?", Nick inquired, concerned. "It's just one of those times, you know? When no matter how many screaming girls are right under your nose, you can't help but feel down because you're apart from family and...your home." "Don't worry~I'm always here. I'm like the little brother you never had, remember?", Nick said, gently and compassionately. "Yeah, I know. It's okay, I'll be fine, " Brian said.Next: Chapter 2 |
