Sweet Dreams Chapter 3 Once he got off her bathing suit top he picked her up and sat her on the bathroom counter. He started kissing her neck hungrily.[AN: This part seems kinda funny to me because it's like the complete opposite of Brian.]"God Brian your hormones are worse than Nick's," she said laughing. "Ha, ha, ha very funny," he said sarcastically. "Well he's never had a woman like you to turn him on." He flashed one of his sexy grins (you know the one I'm talkin about) and continued to kiss her. Next he slid off her bathing suit bottoms and stood in between her legs. "Wait Brian..." he interrupted her with kisses. "Brian wait ... before we go on, you do have protection don't you?" "Well, no I don't. But wait, I'm sure Kev has some around here somewhere." He began to look in the medicine cabinets and under the sink for condoms. "I can't find any. Dang Kevin's girl must not be givin him any." After a moment of thinking Caroline gave in. "It's okay we don't need one. I trust you." "Are you sure?" "Yeah. 100%" They resumed kissing. Brian removed his swim trunks letting them fall to the floor. About 10 minutes later they came out of the bathroom and returned to the pool (talk about a quickie). Luckily no one noticed they were gone.It was about 9:30 p.m. when every one left. Nick and Brian shared an apartment, but he was spending the night at Caroline's. They immediately went to bed after the long day. In the middle of the night Caroline tossed and turned as the disturbing dream appeared in her mind. "Brian!" she screamed. Her heart began to race. Her screaming woke up Brian. "Wha...what?" he said sitting up. "It was so horrible," she cried."It just gets worse and worse." "Shhh," he said rocking her in his arms."It's okay." The next two weeks were the same. Caroline kept loosing more and more sleep because she was afraid to go to sleep at night. One time she stayed up two days straight. And when she did go to sleep she'd have the dream once more. To put it in more simpler terms, she was a nervous wreck. "Caroline I'm tellin you, you need to go to a doctor." "Brian it's not that bad. I'll just take sleeping pills or something. I'll be okay." "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm perfectly fine," she lied. She knew she looked like hell, but she want Brian to worry. "Okay," he said uneasily."But if you need anything give me a call on my cell phone." "Wait, where are you going?" "Nick and I are going to play some b-ball." "But...," she shook her head."Nevermind." "What? You think that I'll pass out or something?" "Well, I don't know." "Look, it was just a dream. It will go away soon. I'll be fine. Bye," he gave her a kiss. "Bye. I love you.""Come on Nick. Just give up." "Never," he panted. "You'll never beat me." Brian dodged past Nick and slammed the ball in the hoop. He suddenly started breathing heavily. "Brian, you okay?" "Yeah," he said holding his chest leaning up against the fence."I just need to catch my breath." A sharp pain began to rise in his chest and Brian fell to the ground. "Brian! Brian!" Nick called as he held Brian in his arms. He reached in his pocket pulled out his cell phone and dialed 911. The ambulance was on it's way. Then he called Caroline. "Come on Caroline pick up the phone." "Hello?" "Caroline you better get over here quick!" "Why? What happened?" she said sensing the panic in his voice. "It's Brian. He collapsed while we were playing basketball. The ambulance is on it's way." "Okay, I'll be right over."Next: Chapter 4 |
