Secret Obsession Chapter 5 Lauren looked at Brian amazed. He smiled at her. "Well, I have to run along. Talk to you later and nice to meet you Lauren," Lou said, running off. The others nodded, "We're going to leave, too. See ya around Lauren!" After they left she gave Brian a hug, "Thank you for not telling them the truth." He paled slightly, when she eased into his arms. It felt so right. "It's not problem," he said, with a smile. This time Lauren didn't notice the figure coming around the corner. "There you are!" the man cried, seeing her. Her face paled and she pulled away from Brian. "Stay away from me!" The man shook his head, "Not until I get what you took from me back!" Lauren shook her head and started running down the hall. Brian stood there in shock, watching her run off and the man after her. "Wait a sec, I can't let him follow her!" he cried, as he began to run after them. "This is kind of like the scene from 'My Best Friend's Wedding'," he thought to himself, as he gained on the man. Lauren looked behind her shoulder and she sped up. She knew if the man caught her, he would kill her. Kevin appeared in front of her, making her collide to a stop. "Whoa!" he said with a smile. The man caught up and grabbed Lauren's arm. She screamed and tried to squirm away from his grasp. Brian pulled at the man, trying to get him to let go of Lauren. Kevin got the picture and he helped Brian pull the man off of her. They managed to do it and Lauren disappeared down the halls. "Damn you!" the man spat out at them, pulling out of their grasp, as he ran after her.Next: Chapter 6 |
