Secret Obsession Chapter 6 "Damn us? Damn us? How about damn him? Lauren's gone!" Brian screamed. "Come on," Kevin said, grabbing his arm, "We have to get that guy." They ran off down the hall."Lauren? Where are you, sweetie? Come out for daddy," the man said, walking around a small room at the end of a hall. Lauren eased against the back wall, not making any sound at all. She prayed that he wouldn't find her. He kicked some boxes aside and spotted a small shadow against the wall. He smiled and walked over, "Hi dearest." Lauren's face paled and she tried to back up away from him, but she couldn't. "If you would just give me what's mine back, all this wouldn't be happening," he said, grabbing her arm. She squirmed, "No, you would still kill me!" He grinned, "Yea, I would. Like I'm going to do now, as soon as you tell me where my money you took is!" She shook her head, "Never! It's not your money, it's mine!" He slapped her on the face, "You bitch!"Brian and Kevin reached a room and heard two people arguing in it. They crept in and behind the guy. Kevin tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and his eyes widened, when Kevin punched him in the face. "Lauren, are you all right?" Brian asked, pulling her away from the man. She nodded her head, so happy to see him. "Get her out of here!" Kevin ordered, punching the guy again. Brian took her hand and they raced out of the room. "Lauren, who is that?" he asked, very serious, when they were farther down the hall. "No one..." she muttered. "So, it's normal for a man to come in here and try to kill you? Really, who is that? What happened?" Lauren shook her head, "Don't do this to me! I'm not going to tell you anyway." She let go of his hand and ran off once again. Brian threw his arms in the air sighed.Next: Chapter 7 |
