Secret Obsession Chapter 4 Her eyes were wide, "Um..I guess you can. But I didn't give you a very good first impression of me. So I was thinkin' you thought I was weird or something." Brian laughed, "I don't think you're weird. A little strange maybe, but not weird!" Lauren smiled a little. Nick glanced at Jennifer and grinned, he hoped Brian and Lauren would start dating. He liked her. "Jenni and I are going to go um..away right now. See ya!" Nick pulled at Jennifer's hand and they ran off, wanting to leave the two alone. Lauren looked at Brian, curiously, "I just met Nick Carter!" He nodded, kind of hurt that she didn't say anything like that about him. "Is he your favorite?" he asked, innocently. "I love all of you, but honestly you're my favorite," she said shyly. A wide grin spread across Brian's face. He was about to say something, when more figures appeared around the corner. Lauren yelped once again and leaped back behind the boxes. And once again, it was a false alarm. It was Lou Pearlman, Kevin, AJ, and his girlfriend Monica. "Hey!" Kevin called, gently hitting Brian on the shoulder. Lauren came out again, this time more embarrassed then before. "Guys, this is Lauren," Brian said, a small smile on the edge of his lips. "Hi!" AJ cried out, holding out his hand. She shook it, wondering if they noticed her hiding behind the boxes. They did. "Why were you hiding behind those boxes?" Kevin asked. Lauren's face turned bright red, but she didn't answer. "Lauren just saw this horror movie and she's still a little freaked out about it," Brian answered., looking at her.
