Secret Obsession Chapter 3 Later that day, Brian had the shock of his life. He was walking around backstage at the venue, when he saw her. He saw the girl in the dream. He stopped dead in his tracks and stared at her. Brian boldly walked over to her, "Hi, I'm Brian." He held out his hand, trying to be polite. All of sudden, she saw someone and her eyes widened. "I'm so sorry, but I have to leave right now!" She ran down the hall. Brian watched her go in shock, he turned around and saw a man walking around, looking for something.The man ran up to Brian, "Have you seen a woman that has long dark brown hair and green eyes? About 5'5"?" Brian looked at him, "I'm sorry. No, I haven't. " The man nodded and he ran off. Brian shook his head, watching him. He wondered who the heck that was. He began to look around for Lauren. "Lauren?" he whispered, talking down the hall. She slowly appeared behind some boxes,"Hi." She looked around again. "Who was that man?" She looked at him, "Um..no one special." "But, he was looking for you. Do you know him? Are you in trouble?" Lauren laughed, "I'm not in trouble!" Her smile fell off her face, as she saw a shadow turning the corner. She yelped and ran back behind the boxes. Nick walked by with his girlfriend, Jennifer. "Hey, B-rok, what's up?" Brian waved, "Lauren, it's all right. You can come back out." She appeared, very red in the face. Nick smiled, "Hi Lauren! I'm Nick." He reached out his hand. She shook it. Jennifer introduced herself, too. "Are you sure you're not in trouble?" Brian asked again. She shook her head, "I'm sure." He smiled, wanting to change the subject, "How long are you here?" "A few days to see Eric." "Great, then we can spend some time together." Lauren looked at him strangely, "Why would you want to spend some time with me?" "Can't I just want to?"
