Secret Obsession by Rachel W ([email protected]) Chapter 2 AJ rushed into Brian's room. "B-rok! Wake up!" Brian groaned, already awake. He rolled out of bed. AJ looked at him in surprise, "Whoa! Did you sleep at all last night?" Brian shook his head, trudging off to the bathroom. "I had the dream again," he muttered. "What dream?" AJ asked confused, "Oh, the one where the girl dies?" Brian nodded, washing his face,"It's so real. I feel like every night, I am actually there watching this beautiful girl die in front of my face and then I die, or it seems like I do. Don't they always say that dreams mean something?" AJ shrugged his shoulders, "In your case, I hope they don't." He gave Brian a sympathetic look and walked out of the bathroom. Later that day, Brian had the shock of his life. He was walking around backstage at the venue, when he saw her. He saw the girl in the dream. He stopped dead in his tracks and stared at her. She looked exactly like her, with her dark, brown hair pulled back and he could even make out those gorgeous green eyes. She turned around a little and caught his gaze. Brian boldly walked over to her, "Hi, I'm Brian." He held out his hand, trying to be polite. She looked around, like she was making sure no one was watching her. "I'm Lauren, nice to meet you." She shook his hand. Brian wanted to actually tell her about his dreams, to tell her that she could be in trouble, but he kept his mouth shut, "Why are you here?" He found himself drawn to her eyes. "Um...I know someone that works on the crew....he said he would take me back here and I could meet some of you and the others later." Lauren looked around, again. "Oh, really? Who do you know?" Brian asked, curiously. "One of your roadies, to be more exact. Eric?" She seemed kind of nervous about something. "Eric? I know him. He didn't mention that you were going to be here." "Oh, sorry," she mumbled. All of sudden, she saw someone and her eyes widened. "I'm so sorry, but I have to leave right now!" She ran down the hall.
