Meadow Girl Chapter 7 Brian and Lily sat on the hill looking out on the lake. It was night and a full silver moon was hung in the sky above them. "Lily?" Brian said turning to her. "Yes?" She said. "Where are we?" "I'm not sure. I don't know why your here or why I'm here. Or what I'm supposed to do here." She paused a moment and then continued. "I just ended up here, on this hill as you did. I don't know why." "I'm so confused." Brian said putting his arm around her. "I have this crazy feeling that I should be somewhere else with other people. People that I was close to. But I can't remember who." "Same with me, I just don't know why." She held him tight. 'Why?� Brian thought.The sun was coming up and light seeped through the pale peach curtains of the hospital room. Jackie who had been talking with Howie walked over to the window. She gently opened the curtains. Amy and Aj had decided to take their worries away from the hospital and go out for a light breakfast. Kevin and Nick were sipping on coffee talking about home and the tour which had been canceled. Everyone had their hopes up for Lily and Brian. Each person was almost completely normal. But not the same as they were before their friends had been admitted to the hospital. Nurses popped in and out of the room. With all sorts of medicines and injections to help Brian fight the infection and Lily to fight off any possible infection. Things were looking up. All through the day smiles were light up on the faces of the guys. You see, Amy and Aj when they were out for breakfast got to talking. They found that they had alot in common. Both had a poetic heart, same basic interests. Both agreed that they could learn alot from each other. The two never went back to the hotel. After breakfast Amy suggested that they go shopping. Aj agreed and later the two went to the hotel the guys were staying at. They went out for dinner and just never got back to the hospital. As for Jackie and Howie, well, they stayed at the hospital and talked. Nothing much but still Howie thought that he should have taken her somewhere. After all she had left her sisters side for two weeks. He decided that instead of taking her to dinner that he would take her to a movie. He asked her and she agreed. There wasn't anything for her to do at the hospital anyway. They soon left for a movie that Jackie had picked. Night soon fell and Kevin and Nick decided to go and grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria. Not much was happening. But then all alone in the room. No one to see it happen. Not a soul around.
