Meadow Girl by Serena ([email protected]) Chapter 6 Kevin, Howie, Aj, Amy and Jackie sat at a cafeteria both. Kevin fiddled with his cup of coffee as Amy and Aj carried on a conversation. "So your friend, Lily. Why is she in the hospital." Aj asked Amy. "I'm not sure, no one knows what happened. She just fainted one day and never woke up." Amy said not looking at Aj. "Oh, I'm sorry." "Why, It's not your fault. Is it?" Amy said with a teasing smile, the first one she had had since Lily had been in the hospital. "Nope not me!" He replied replying the smile. "What happened to Brian?" Amy asked. "He has a heart infection." Aj answer the playful smile leaping off his face. "He'll be ok, I know he will." Amy said with confidence. "That's what I'm hoping." He said Howie and Jackie proceeded in there own conversation. Jackie told Howie all about her twin and how she had just blinked out like a light. In turn Howie told Jackie about Brian. It seemed like both cases were screwed. AND I MEAN SCREWED BAD! Just then Nick burst through the cafeteria doors and ran over to the booth where the group was sitting. He almost ran past them but managed to stop in front of the booth. "Hey guys....." He started out of breath. "Come..." He gasped. "Woe, Nick calm down. What is it?" Kevin asked. "It's Brian." The guys and Girls immediately got up from their seats and ran to Brian's room. Kevin ran so fast that he ran into a nurse. He apologized and asked the nurse if she would come with him. She nodded. All of them ran through the halls until they caught up with Nick at Brian and Lily's door. "Ok Nick what's wrong?" Kevin asked. "Look" And sure enough there they were. Hand in hand, still unconscious as ever. "Is this some kind of joke!" Aj yelled at Nick. "NO!, They did this themselves I saw." Nick yelled back. Amy and Jackie made there way through the guys. Amy stopped in between the two beds just in front of Lily and Brian's clutched hands. She laid her palm over the two hands. She closed her eyes and said. "You need me now, now and forever.
