Greetings:
Let me
briefly introduce you to Balm Foundation and give you some insight into
some of the programs and future plans for the organization and the
country Ghana.

Three years ago after visiting my beloved country Ghana I had a vision
after seeing the level of poverty that existed in the community; I was
compelled by the Holy Spirit to make a difference in the life of those
who are less fortunate. I truly believe that my moral and Godly
responsibility to those who are left behind. I then returned to Canada
and sold my business and began to research how to make a difference by
improvising the quality of life for the poor.
Balm
Foundation has observed that the Nation is sending the terminally ill
who are affected with the HIV/AIDS virus to the grave. And during that
time they have suffered very horribly. Most Ghanaians have neglected the
African traditional custom (ATC) of caring for elder members of the
family. The young and venerable girls who are the future of the
country are being abused, raped and spiritually tortured ,destroying the
future of the country. In the biblical times God told the prophet
Jeremiah to pose this question to the people of Israel when they were
in Babylonian captivity. "Is there no balm in land of Gilead?" Is there
no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wounds of my
people? The inner law of our creator demands honor thy father and thy
mother so that your days will be longer on the earth that God has given
you. This has necessitated the formation of the organization to assist
the government and corporate sector in Ghana and throughout the world.
I am
pleased to inform you that Balm Foundation is now in its third year and
has fulfilled its mission by providing education, food, clothing,
shelter and medical care for those who are in need.
Balm Foundation has just established its North
American chapter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA. The very first mandate
of Balm Foundation is honesty, loyalty, integrity and absolute respect
for individual lives. We do not discriminate based on age, race, sex, or
religious affiliation. Balm
Foundation strongly believe that we can work together towards a common
belief to the very interest of the majority of this nation at the
poverty line, as well as stability line. The
organization has embarked upon several projects that will further
enhance the quality of life for the people of Ghana through economic
development and job readiness skills.
I
personally invite you to visit our website at
www.balmfoundation.org with any questions or comments
that you might have or to make a tax-deductible contribution.
Sincerely,
