Rogue called Meg later that day and found out that the party was actually the next night, Saturday. So they decided to go to the movie that was playing that night. Caitlin, Rogue's roommate, was looking forward to seeing the movie and called the rest of the group together to make plans. Rogue, on the other hand, took a nap. Actually, it was an unscheduled nap because she was trying to read her history book. And failed miserably.
At eight o'clock, the group was sitting in their seats in the theater, waiting for the movie to start. Caitlin, Katie, Claire, Alexandria, Shelly, and Mary sat in one row. Jackie, Sully, Trisha, Judi, Meg, Rogue, and Rowdy sat behind them. The lights dimmed and the movie started. It was a pretty good one and Rogue was starting to get into it. Until she felt something hit the back of her head. She paid it no mind and continued watching. A few minutes later, she felt something else hit her in the back of the head, followed by soft giggling. She turned around to see what was so damn funny. She saw Chris Jericho with a tub of popcorn which he obviously been tossing using her head for a target. He was the most obnoxious, loud-mouthed person she had ever had the misfortune to meet. And since she first saw him, he had gone out of his way to make her life hell. To prove the fact, he tossed another kernel at her, hitting her in the middle of the forehead. Blood boiling and teeth gritting, she did the only thing she could do without making a scene in the theater. She simply flipped him the bird and turned her attention back to the screen.
"What's the problem?" Meg asked, seeing Rogue's anger.
"Nothing. Just Jackass Jericho being a prick again." she huffed.
"I think he likes you."
"What?! He's always being a jerk to me. Not the best way to express affection, I think."
"Maybe it's just his way. Or maybe he's just shy."
"Quiet down in front!" Chris yelled.
"BITE ME!!!" Meg yelled. That shut him up right quick. "We'll talk about this later," she whispered.
They continued to watch the movie, uninterrupted. After it was over, the group parted ways. Caitlin went to see her man, Edge. Meg, Judi, and Sully went up to the suites where the rest of the group lived. Rogue went back to her room to try to get some of her reading done.
Rogue woke up some time the next morning. After realizing it was almost noon and that she would have to haul ass to make it to brunch on time, she grabbed her shower things and headed for the bathroom. Luckily, she didn't have to go far and it looked like she had the whole place to herself. She turned on the hot water and started to shower.
Since she had the whole bathroom to herself, she began to sing. "In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight." She was about to hit the "Weeee!" part when she heard someone call out her name. She poked her head out of the curtain and saw Glenn standing in the entrance of the bathroom.
"What do you want?" she asked. "I'm trying to loofa! And better yet, what the hell are you doing here? This is the girls' bathroom!"
"I know," he said nervously. "But you're roommate said that you were in the shower and we need to talk to you." "We? Who is we?"
Mark pushed his way past Glenn and into the shower area of the bathroom. Glenn followed behind, checking to make sure that no one saw them enter. "We wanna know who about those girls you were with yesterday at lunch. The ones that were talking to Glenn after you fell on you ass."
"Could we have this conversation later? Like when I'm not naked and wet?!"
"Glenn wants Meg's number. And I think Judi is hot. We want you to hook us up."
"While that's all fine and good, I'm afraid I don't have their number with me. It's not something I usually travel to the shower with."
"We can wait."
Rogue realized that these two were actually willing to stand outside of her shower stall and wait for her to finish so they could get what they want. Although she praised their persistence, she just couldn't have them standing there. It wouldn't be too pretty if someone found them there. "We're all going to the frat party tonight. They'll be there for sure."
"Oh... okay. Then we'll see you guys there. Cool. Thanks." They turned around and left.
Rogue leaned against the wall of the shower and heaved a sigh of relief. After making a mental note to make Mark pay for that intrusion someday, she continued her shower in peace.
