STAR WARS

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Those words are the beginning to a story that has sparked the imaginations of of countless writers, artists, and of course gamers for over 23 years now.  The story of Star Wars is familiar as a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, yet refreshing and vibrant.  No other science fiction or fantasy movie series has captivated more people than George Lucas's epics.  Star Wars is as timeless as story can be.  Which is why the Star Wars universe is the prefect place in order to roleplay.  From the myriad of exotic species to the enigmatic Jedi Knights, there is a character that anyone of any taste to be played.
On November 22, 2000, Wizards of the Coast unveiled what was quite possibly the most anticipated roleplaying game of the year.  Star Wars uses the same system as the newest edition of the long-running Dungeons and Dragons game.  Don't think for a second that the new Star Wars game plays like "D&D in space," because it doesn't.  WotC displayed the versatility of the D20 engine.  The Star Wars RPG is an excellent system that captures the feel of Star Wars beautifully with a fast and easy to learn system.
This site is devoted to expanding the base of material for the Star Wars RPG, by providing more species, characters, and creatures.  So far, I have converted D&D 3e species to Star Wars and Alternity species to Star Wars and loaded each file with information on how I added them into my own Star Wars campaign.  Yes, this does mean that when you play in a Star Wars RPG with me, you are just as likely to run into a gnoll in Jabba's palace as you are a gammorean.  That dark side adept that looks somewhat like a quarren, may actually be an Illithid.
Coming soon are at least three more species booklets (though likely that number will be increased), a collection of 1st level characters, and even a few higher level characters.
Enjoy the information, and "May the Force be with you."...and your games!

D&D for Star Wars
: A collection of species from D&D 3rd Edition for use with Star Wars. Changes are made to some species, such as the deletion of powers that wouldn't really be found in Star Wars (at least not in my campaign).

Alternity for Star Wars
: The species found in this file are much closer to Star Wars mainstream.  The species herein are from the Alien Compendiums (1 and 2), The Externals, and Dark Matter.

Ailen Kir'la
: A cerean Jedi Knight who fought off the influence of the Dark Side.

Hicks Delantro
: A human Jedi Knight known for his battle prowess and his kind heart.

Kerestians
: Converted from WEG's Galaxy Guide 12 *

Khil
