| Chapter 43 |
| Forcing a smile at her landlord, Amelia left her office with her lease deceased. This wasn't the time for her to be smiling at all. She was leaving the man she loved, how could anyone be happy about that. Walking out of her building, there was a truck of moving men who would be moving all of her belongings down to Texas. Giving them a kind smile, she slipped into her car, driving off in the direction of Justin's house, the house she had dreamed of living in one day with him. Composure is what she needed for the months to come without him and she had to be strong especially for the baby. She made sure she kept her distance from Lynn and the girls. Lynn had called sometime to check up on her and she had a feeling Justin put her up to it with her weird behavior over the phone. She hated doing this to the people who took her in their life when her family gave up on her. If she was to take back everything that happened she wouldn't because she desperately loved Justin and would not change the outcome. Her plans to move to Texas was to a very secluded place her grandmother on her mothers side had given to her when she died. Not many people knew about the place especially since the town wasn't one you would hear of, Wink, Texas. She was grateful her family didn't know much on how to get there because she wanted peace and they had hurt her in so many ways. She would love it when her grandmother would take her there because its was so beautiful especially around this time of the year. Pulling into the drive way, a rush on nervousness came over her. Pushing the key into the door, she was met with a comfy household. She loved the way it was decorated and would give Lynn praises on how she helped decorate the house. She felt the need to stay and never leave this house. It was like, Justin's presence was there telling her not to leave him, that he needed her as much as she needed him. Memories of events they shared in the house flooded back to her. The livingroom was where she told Justin about her parents hatered. The kitchen, their first kiss and made there their mini make out sessions. The bedroom, where they had a massive pillow fight and feathers were all over the room. So many wonderful and loving memeories were here and she couldn't stand to stay any longer. Taking the letter she wrote to Justin out of her purse, she placed it on the nightstand, laying against a picture of the both of them. Tears came to her eyes. She felt so stupid because all she had seemed to do was cry about everything. Looking around the bedroom one last time, she headed for the door, knowing that Lynn came by reagulary to check up on the house. Making her way to leave, Justin's home phone rang. She stopped dead in her tracks. Should she answer it? What if it was him calling to see if she was here? Turning back around, she closed and locked the door never hearing the message that was left. Beep!"Hello, Mr. Timberlake. This is Jacob King calling from Tiffany's. I am calling to tell you that the engagement ring you wanted is finally ready. Call me when you get this message." Beep!
