| Siting in one of the narrow and uncomfortable chairs, Amelia felt nervous. This was her least favorite part about being in a doctors office, the waiting. It allowed her mind to wander about things that she really didn't want to think about. Looking around, she saw women who was pregnant to one who look very ill. A woman around the age of 40 came in with a girl between the ages of 13-15. The young girl immediately took noticed of Amelia and started gawking. Amelia lifted her magazine a little higher, trying not to cause a scene, but she knew she was making it worse when everyone started to notice. She was saved by the nurse who called her name. Grabbing her belongings, she quickly rushed out of the waiting room. Whe she entered her doctors office she was met by her bright smile as usual. "Hello, Amelia, it nice to see you again. Its been ages." "I know. I really needed a check-up. I've been feeling sick lately and don't know whats wrong with me," said Amelia. "Ok, why don't you put this on and I'll be back in a few," said Dr. Gains, giving Amelia a gown to change into. Amelia's examination lasted for about an hour and she was told to wait again. Taking a look at Dr. Gains' s dipolma's, she was amazed. She remembered dreaming about being a doctor when she was a little girl. The medical field had always amazed her. The clicking of the door caught her attention and butterflys began swarming around her stomach. Dr. gains smiled at her and she returned the gesture with a uneasy smile. "Well Amelia, I've found the reason why you've been feeling sick. It can be good or bad news depending on you," said Dr. Gains, pausing for a second to let Amelia get ready,"You're three weeks pregnant sweetie." Immediately Amelia's smile dropped from her face. She couldn't believe it. How could she be pregnant. Well, duh Amelia. You and Jutsin have had sex before, she scolded herself. Dr. Gains saw Amelia's behavior and decided to lighten it a bit. "I know this must come as a shock to you. Hopefully the father of this child and you can talk about this," she soothed . "Dr. Gains, I think you would already know who the father of this child is. It was all over the papers. God.....I never thought this would happen so soon. Its hard enough being with him and by putting a child in the mix, it's just going to get worse," spoke Amelia, trying very hard not to let her voice crack. Giving Amelia some tissues, Dr. Gains tried her best to comfort her and guide her in the best direction. Pushing her tinted sunglasses a little higher on her face, Amelia walked out of her doctors office. Walking out, she tried her best not to let any stray tears to fall from her eyes. Before she could make her way out of the office, a newspaper caught her eyes. The title written in bold letters read, "Justin Secret Vacation With Girlfriend" and they had pictures of their outings. That put a double frown on her face and a dent on her mood for the day. Walking as fast as she could, she jumped in the car and rested her head on the steering wheel. Tears started to flow down her carmel skin then it hit her like a ton of bricks. The first time they had sex was the day they apologized and they never used a condom nor did she have birth control pills. They were so full of intense emotion to even realize they didn't use condoms. This brought more tears to splash on her cheeks. She couldn't believe how stupid and irreponsible she and Justin were. Great, what the hell am I going to do. This is just too much for me to handle now, she thought as she hit the horn in anger, burying her head in her arms. Back Home Chapter 42 |
