"You've been staring at mommy for a long time, huh?" Playfully poking the child.
"Uhuh. You sleepy?," she innocently asked. Sitting up, Amelia brushed a piece of her hair from her face and replied.
"Not really. I'm just very happy because we're going to have a great day with daddy and all of our family and friends." Jisela just smiled and let out a small giggle from her small lips. Ruffling her daughter's messy hair, she rised from the bed and walked into her beautiful decorated bathroom. Jisela's small footsteps followed right behind her. In there, she got Jislea and herself all cleaned up and dressed to eat breakfast with everyone. Amelia pulled her brown hair in a high ponytail and wore a pair of lightly wash out denim jeans and a wifebeater with a mint green, nice, thin designer shawl over the beater. Jisela on the other hand had a nice kakhi type skirt with a cute shirt that read, "Daddy's Princess" in Gold sparkles going across.
Walking down the staircase with Jisela sitting on her hip, she could smell the scent of eggs, bacon, and waffles enter her nostrils. Turning around the corner, she was blantly surprised to see that everyone was already down stairs. "Good morning everyone." Everyone smiled and greeted the two. Everyone instantly sat down at the table and started to eat breakfast, which was prepared by Lynn and Mrs. White.
"So hunny, how was your sleep?, Mrs. White asked. Glancing up for a few seconds before helping Jisela eat, Amelia answered.
"Oh, it was fine. I got enough to the point where I won't be drowsy all day. I'm just so excited, I can't help it!," she glowed.
"That's natural to hear. I was just like you when I married my husband. I believe every woman is when that day comes," Mrs. White announced.
For the rest of the time, everyone stayed silent and ate their breakfast. Once they ate, it was time to get everything prepared and ready, so they could be at the church on time.
Standing before the women was an extravagantly looking chapel up in the hills of Tennessee. The exterior of the place held many beautiful blooming flowers out in the front as well as a amazing view. The interior was just as magnificent. There were many rows which were decorated with blush and white roses while the aisle had a white carpet leading towards the front. Amelia was floored by how everything turned out. It was more than she had ever dreamed of and was grateful to finally experience such.
"This place is beautiful! Laura did an amazing job planning this," Zahra said, referring to Laura, Amelia's wedding planner.
Smiling back at her, "Yeah, I know. Everything really turned out better than I had expected after all the trouble I went through with things being screwed up."
"I hope one day I can have a wedding similar to this. You're one lucky gal."
"I am and hope I can stay lucky for a long time. I never want this feeling to end, you know?" Giving Zahra one of her lopsided grins. Before anything else could be said, Lynn and Mrs. White pulled them away from the room to get situated in the Brides Room.
"The boys will be here and minute and we definitely don't need Justin seeing you before the wedding. It's a tradition which has to be followed through," stated Mrs. White, "Plus, your crew of hairstylist and make-up artist are here to start." Laughing a bit, Amelia shook her head and continued on to the room to get done up.
Arriving fifty minutes later were the guys. They were quite late to the time they were supposed to be at the chapel and that didn't make Justin so happy. The whole ride there he complained about how ridiculous it was. Justin was on a high right about now. All night, he twisted and turned just thinking about this very day. He was so excited about his wedding day that he woke up at the crack of dawn, packed all his necessities, cleaned himself up, and even attempted to cook breakfast for everyone. As soon as the guys hit the Grooms Room, they were off getting themselves reading for the ceremony.
Taking another look at herself in the full length mirror, Amelia almost cried. She couldn't believe her eyes. She looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang white strapless organza wedding dress with gold beaded embroidery and laced up back. Her hair was pulled in a tight French bun with diamond accessories placed consecutively on. Her make-up was very natural and light to bring out the god features her face held and she had expensive Vera Wang diamonds hanging from her tiny ears with the matching bracelets. At this moment she felt like a princess getting married to her long-time prince.
Lynn, who was not standing too far behind, stood and watched as tears of joy wanted to spill down her eyes. She felt happy knowing that her son was finally getting married to someone she could see being with him for the rest of his life. Moments like this was what she used to dream up in her head to one day see. Lifting up the veil, she headed towards Amelia.
"You look wonderful. I wished I looked as good as you on my wedding day."
Placing the veil on the top of Amelia's head and fixing it slightly.
Blushing a bit, "Thanks! I'm so nervous right now. I'm on the verge of wanting to cry and puke at the same time."
"I know how you feel. Nerves are a good thing, just don't let them get the best of you. Oh, I have something for you!" Taking a few steps to the left of Amelia, Lynn took out a jewelry box from her purse. Opening it, she revealed an white-sliver, diamond encrusted heart, which took her breath away.
"Oh my, its beautiful."
"It's yours. This necklace has been passed down for some generations. It was given to me by my mother on my wedding day. You're like a daughter to me, the one I never got a chance to have. So, I'm passing it down to you," Lynn explained. Making eye contact with Lynn, she didn't know what to say, her emotions spoke for her. A tear escaped from her brown eyes and she just hugged her tight.
"Thank you Mama Lynn! This means so much to me since I never had a realtionship like this with my mom." Lynn wiped tear from Amelia and her eyes.
"I know honey. Turn around so I can put this on you! The wedding about to start," she exclaimed. Turning around, she watched as Lynn placed the necklace on her neck. "There, now you're all set."
Standing in front of the alter in front of all his family and friends, Justin stood around nervous. Many of his relatives were just flashing off pictures like crazy and the wedding hadn't even started. Some of the celsbs he invited even made it all the way to Tennessee, for instance, Pharrell and Chad, Timbaland, Christina, and members of the BEP(Black-eyed Peas).
As Zahra/Lance, Kelly/Joey, Bobbie/JC, Courtney/Nick, and Cortanay/Chris lined up, along with Jisela and Brianna as the flower girls and Jonathan and Steven as the ring boys, Amelia stayed behind with Paul. As the music started, Amelia closed her eyes and Paul gave her a squeeze to let her know he's here for her. Right before she was to walk out, she turned to Paul.
"Thanks Paul. For everything. Mama Lynn and you have done so much for me. I...I can't even express the amount of love I hold for you two."
"No, thank you. I'm glad you're going to be officially apart of the family," he said as he gently placed a kiss upon her forehead and pulled the veil over her face. Laura, the planner, quickly signaled them that it was time.
As the wedding music played and they slowly took their steps to the open door, Amelia was ready. Ready to take that big step in her life. It was now or never.
