Chapter 26
Peeking outside the window the small girl was intrigued by the people and flashes that were going off when she appeared. She knew she wasn't supposed to be by the window because her mother had scolded her a few times for doing so, but she didn't listen; the people amazed her. Hearing footsteps and her mother's voice, her little feet moved from the window and back to her Barbie dolls before her mother caught her once again.

"Court, I'm sick and tired of this! These god for nothing itches stay right in front my home screaming and yelling to ask questions about Justin and I's private life. They've been here for the past 2 weeks since I've gotten home. There is so much going on that I honestly don't know what to do. Justin told me to ignore them and not answer any questions until he holds a press conference for his album, which they'll surely ask about us, but its hard," she sighed, running her hands through her hair and peeking around to make sure Jisela was being good. Saying yes occasionally to what her friend was telling her, she said her goodbyes when her friend had to go.

Placing, the cordless phone back on the kitchen hook, she took a seat on the stool. Jisela decided to approach her mother. "Mommy, wah wrong? You look sad. Don be sad," she said when she sat on her mom's lap and caressed her face. Smiling at her daughters, sincerity and ways of knowing when something's wrong.

"I'm ok sweetie. Mommy just, just misses daddy. Its a little lonely without daddy," she covered up. Tilting her head to the side, Jisela put her index finger on her cheek and gave a questioning look; assuming her mother wasn't telling the truth. Looking at Jisela, she couldn't believe how she looked exactly like Justin at that moment. Justin always did that whenever he thought there was more that she wasn't telling.

"Ok missy don't give me that look. Mommy is fine so don't worry about me so much. Go and play with your toys and stay away from that window and I mean it. Mommy's going to make a call," she stated, placing the child on her feet. Giving Amelia a kiss on mouth before she went, Amelia grabbed the phone and dialed very familiar numbers. On the second ring, the owner answered the phone and brought a smile to her face.

"Hey baby. Just calling for some encouragement. I miss you so much," she cooed. Justin's laughter consumed the line.

"I miss you too. Can't wait to finally see you and my baby once again. How are you holding up?," he asked in concern.

"It's ok. I just wish they would leave me alone. Jisela's been quite impressed by everyone outside, I can't say the same though," she laughed, Justin joining in.

"Of course! She loves the attention like me," he boasted. Sighing over the phone, she decided to cut to the chase.

"J, I also called for a reason. I've been thinking about going to Florida to talk with me family and Mya. Over the years, nothing has been resolved. Every time, Ive ran or the talks ends up making things worse. I feel like I really need to settle things with my parents once and for all. We will never be a family again, but at least I can leave with a peace of mind. I didn't want to do this without asking what you thought of it," she explained. Justin didn't miss a beat.

"Go, go see them and resolve what you can. I think you're doing the right thing and you did not have to ask me, but its great that you can lean on me. So when do you plan on leaving and is Jisela going with you?," he answered.

"I want to leave this week; Thursday the latest. Jisela will not being going! I can't bare to bring her into an environment I've been trying to keep her away from. She'll stay with Courtney and Nay while I'm gone," raising her voice slightly then bringing it down when Jisela looked with curiosity.

"Alright then. Is squeaky around? I want to talk to her before I go," he announced. Amelia didn't have to call Jisela; she was already on her way to the kitchen to ask her mother a question. Giving the phone to her and telling her Justin was on the phone, she excitedly squealed over the receiver.

"Hi daddy! I miss you," she sang, laughing when Justin cooed back to her. A slew of 'ok, yes, and no's were said from her through their whole 7 minute conversation and Amelia was very curious to know what Justin was telling her. "Bye daddy. I wove you. Here mommy." Giving the phone back to Amelia, she walked away without another word. Shaking her head once again with how much, Jisela acted like Justin.

"I can't get over how much she acts like you J. What were you telling her?," curiously asking. Justin's laughter rang and she knew, he was probably smirking by now.

"Baby, I have to go. Use my credit card to book your flight. You still remember the pin? And don't argue with me about you spending my money; I want you to. Call me when you book the flight and when you land on Florida soil, I'll have a car waiting to drop you by the house," he stated. Smiling, she decided not to argue and let him have his way.

"Ok, I will. Love you," she said, getting up from the stool.

"Love you too and keep holding up, everything will be fine soon," he said, ending their conversation.
